The Hidden Siege

As far as I know, none of the living generations who are inhabiting earth today have been besieged as they are facing all over the globe! People everywhere, of every generation, of every color and of every social level are suffering from this siege or are expecting it while it is moving secretly and silently, following a plan that no one has been able to reveal it’s code.

In some counties, vast cities spend their days and nights as if they are a wilderness. In other places, countless people suffer and wait for their death, which is approaching some in a fast pace and slowly towards others. In other places, people are perplexed, confused, and skeptical: Am I one of the tools of this siege? Are you? Is it possible for that group that is walking there?

However, no one sees anything, no one hears anything, and no one touches anything! But everyone is sure that they are trapped with no escape. But how do we break a siege that we do not see or hear nor know anything about!

This very strange picture surprised me. It  reminded me of Adam and Eve fleeing something that they did not know and did not understand what it meant on the day they disobeyed the commandment and felt that they were trapped and forced to flee, but didn’t know whom are they fleeing from, and where are they fleeing too.

They just didn't know!

Now, I began to understand more,

the amount of confusion and hesitation that afflicted them, and the form of treachery and damage that surrounded their thinking, while they were trying to understand what happened, and describing what happened to them.

Just as we do now, this is one of the wonders about God’s will for what happens, and that explains the effects of sin in a person’s life, another who talks about the rules of eating and the ways to prepare what we eat, and others trying to link what happened to globalization problems.

Thus, the first two people on this earth stood explaining a siege that was strangling them without understanding the truth about its dimensions!

This is how we all stand today, in two sieges that fill us with confusion, hesitation and fear:

The siege of the first human beings that we inherited, and still weighing heavily on people, whose lives begin to tire, despite the effective treatment that Christ prepared with his death and resurrection.

The second is the siege of the deadly virus that we pray for the success of the many experiments that are taking place here and there to make a treatment that nullifies it and dismantles our siege
